Two courses to learn how to save a life
BLS is the first-aid protocol with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); BLS-D adds the use of the defibrillator (AED). Theory and hands-on practice on a manikin, for skills you can really use in an emergency.
BLS
The first-aid protocol with the essential life-saving manoeuvres: cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adults and children, to act in the first minutes — the decisive ones — while waiting for the emergency services.
BLS-D
Everything in BLS, plus the use of the semi-automatic external defibrillator (AED): essential in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. For healthcare professionals, athletes and companies.
Certificate of attendance for both courses. The BLS-D course awards a certificate valid throughout Italy, recognised in accordance with the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Italian law (D.Lgs 81/08) requires every company to train its first-aid responders. We run Workplace First Aid courses (Ministerial Decree 388/03) for groups A, B and C, BLS-D training for defibrillator use and the related refreshers, with experienced healthcare instructors.
